Fine Jewelley

So my Summer 2012 obsession is delicate jewellery. In complete contrast to last year, with my cuff's and YSL arty ring, which i wore out!, I'm now all about the finer things in life (quite literally!)

BijouxBar by Vivien Frank is a collection of fine pieces created by the beautiful Swiss designer. My recommendations:

I Think I'm In Love

I first have to apologise for my blogging absence. I have recently started University and moved house, so things have been a tad hectic, also Internet was only installed this week. Anyway I'm back and ready to blog!

 So as previously blogged (http://fashionbookmark.blogspot.com/2010/11/top-of-wishlist.html), i was in love with the Jordan Askill heart ring after seeing it on Christine Centerena on the Jak & Jil blog last summer, so i treated myself! It was sold out in the UK so i sourced it from Australia, a little store called Landsend in Sydney to be precise. I co-ordinated the sale with staff through e-mail and they could not of been more helpful, a great retail experience. I paid via Paypal and received the ring in quick smart time. I heart my heart ring ♥

This Isn't Just Fashion....This Is M & S Fashion!

I came across the preview of M & S's S/S 2011 collection on www.instyle.co.uk yesterday and was amazed at the wide selection of great pieces for the coming season. From silky 70's inspired jumpsuits, to chic tailoring, to the amazing textured leather biker jacket (a must!), glamorous Maxi's (the above in forest green, a huge trend at the Golden Globes) and super cute underwear. I contacted the company and was advised my above favourites will be appearing in the local stores in the coming weeks. Purse at the ready!

In December i was looking a grey wrap cardigan for work, and had to share this find, sorry for the delay!



To the left is the exact one i purchased from my local Asda. I paid a reasonable £12.50 for it, but it is now in the sale at an even better £6.25. To the right is a Karen Millen one i came across on http://www.elleuk.com/. I think they are very similar and with a saving of over £100, it's supermarket all the way!

Top of the wishlist!

After a long search for a suitable "everyday ring", i have descovered the HEART RING IN 9KT ROSE GOLD by Jordan Askill ($185 Australian dollars). I first came across the ring in the My favourite things: Christine Centerena section on the Jak & Jil blog back in Aug. The jewellery designer is seemingly a close friend of Christine's, the fashion editor of Harper's Bazaar Australia. Santa?!

A Pick-Me-Up Purchase

I'm partial to a well made blouse and had a much loved one from Miss Selfridge that ticked all the boxes. Nude, three quarter length sleeves, silk and baggy. Hung perfectly, but disaster struck at T in the Park when my perfect blouse got ruined. The bin it was. I have since been looking for a replacement and today came across the new range from Yuki. All the blouses are one size and there are a few different styles to choose from, but i opted for the "Beige Preppy Unbalanced Shirt" £59.00
